February 2-5, 2012, Camp Orkila, Orcas Island. Retreat on Orcas Island for
women and chaperoned daughters/granddaughters 10th grade and up.
Arrive Thursday, Feb. 2nd or Friday, Feb. 3rd. All meals provided, if you
choose. Double occupancy rooms for sleeping, waterfront view space for
creating. Tables, chairs, cutting tables/mats/blades, ironing boards and

2/17 - 18/12 Kitsap Quilters is holding its 26th Annual Quilt Show
Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. The event will be held at the Kitsap
County Fairgrounds, Presidents' Hall, Bremerton, Washington. Hours are
Friday from 10 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 5:00 pm. The
show will have over 200 quilts on display, vendors from Washington and
Oregon, quilt-related demonstrations, members' boutique and cafe.

4/6-7/12 Fidalgo Island Quilters Quilt Show "My Stars" at the
Anacortes Middle School, Anacortes, Washington. There will be
approximately 400 quilts, two featured artists, demonstrations, a tea room,
merchant mall, and a style show (Saturday only). This year Ann
Bodle-Nash, a certified quilt appraiser, will be available during show hours to
appraise quilts. The charge is $45 for a 45 minute inspection, a written
appraisal (includes a stated monetary value) and a photo; or $20 for a 15
minute inspection and oral evaluation (no monetary value assigned).

La Conner Quilt and Textile Museum - The museum collects,
preserves, and exhibit quilts and textiles from local, national, and
international artists. It hosts two new exhibits opening every three months
and a rotation of quilts from their permanent collection. There is always
something new to see at Washington State’s only quilt museum housed in
the beautiful historic Gaches Mansion in La Conner, Washington, 703
South 2nd St., PO Box 1270, La Conner, WA 98257. General Museum
admission is $5.00 per person, members and children under 12, free.
